We’re looking forward to working with a front-end web developer who has an equal passion for both programming as well as design—someone we hope to grow with as the studio continues to develop.
You will be working in a collaborative studio environment, translating UI/UX design wireframes to actual code. Attention to detail is something we really value in the execution of the work. Skill set:
- 3+ years experience in web development
- Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
- Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
- Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
- Good understanding of php, and occasionally liquid (Shopify)
- Familiar with design platforms like Figma and Sketch.
- Proficient with CMS platforms, including: WordPress, Shopify
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
- Proficient with project setup and backup (Github)
- Good understanding for SEO optimization
- Good understanding for web security
