We had the pleasure of being connected to Michael Klausmeier in the midst of the pandemic. Despite meeting only through video call, we really enjoyed our conversations and the opportunity to learn more about his industry—CG visualization—an industry we admittedly were not particularly familiar with at the time. During our initial meeting, Michael had noted that Volley was mainly known for architectural visualizations and much of their work was in this sector. However, Michael made it clear that with a new website, their hope would be to continuing pushing beyond this sector and further into creating visualizations for brands and creative agencies.
Through our discovery process, it was quickly revealed to us the prominent role CG visualization played across multiple industries and the potential Volley had as a company to grow. Our objective was to create a new website that showcased Volley’s full potential, displaying an array of work from various industries and presenting the company has a vibrant and vital partner for brands to collaborate with. Additionally, presenting Volley’s full range of capacities was an important differentiator from competing agencies in their industry. Volley offered what we called a full house approach to visualizations with the ability to offer methods of CG animation, virtual reality and 360 renderings under one roof.
Paired with Volley’s beautiful renderings and animation, we strived to design a website that was equally engaging in layout while incorporating sensible and subtle animations to create an immersive online experience.
